I need prayers that my dh travels safely from Tx to Virginia. He has to change plans several times, and he needs assistance. So please pray that the airline people are kind, and that he gets there safely.

Liz, I'm praying for your husband's safety and smooth transitions between planes.

I've traveled with a friend who needed wheelchair assistance. The secret is to notify the airline in advance, to have wheelchairs waiting for you at each stop; then to have several "greenbacks" on hand to tip the wheelchair porters.

It helps if you're using the same carrier for all legs of the flight; the carrier can then supervise the overall travel plan.

Please let us know how it goes for him.

Thanks for everyone's prayers. He finally called. He was an hour late, one of the planes was delayed, but not sure why. He did say that all of the airline people were super friendly and helped him make his connecting flights and even find his hotel's courtesy bus.

Thank you all so much for the prayers; I will be calling on ya'll again for his return flight on the 10th.
