Woody
Stan ... I've seen more morphing going on recently in the politics section. As Aldona would say ... there have been 'many tics' and blood suckers there recently. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology. Members phkrause
Stan I would phrased that question a little different. Like what makes people more hostile, Politics or Religion? I chose #1 anyway. pk Quote phkrause Obstinacy is a barrier to all improvement. - ChL

Members phkrause
Yes I understand that Stan. I just don't see people that like politics as weird, like in religion. I think in politics you find hostility. And there is hostility in religion also. pk Quote phkrause Obstinacy is a barrier to all improvement. - ChL
GreatLakesGramma
Stan I would phrased that question a little different. Like what makes people more hostile, Politics or Religion? I chose #1 anyway. pk You are thinking of something entirely different. It isn't about discussing things, or how people are toward other people. Think Hare Krishna. Members phkrause
I think you are right! The more than I have been thinking about it, I should have picked #2 because religion can make people weird, were as politics just makes people hostile to each other. ChildofChrist
Anything that we don't understand nor endorse seems to end up on the 'Weird' list IMO. I guess that is why I enjoy learning about other lifestyles and beliefs. Sometimes if we know that stuff, then understanding may dawn on us. Ya think? aldona
In response to the original question (re: what makes folks weirder - politics or religion); Just my humble observation - any attempt to mix together religion with politics takes "weird" to a whole new level. i.e. creates a hybrid "monster". aldona Quote www.asrc.org.au (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Melbourne)Helping over 2000 refugees & asylum seekers each monthIMSLP/Petrucci Music LibraryThe Public Domain Music Score Library - Free Sheet Music DownloadsLooking for classical sheet music? True-believer
when religion influences the state to enforce religion,, that will make people act very weird... There are many Christian groups involved in politics like: The Christian Democrates And The Family First Party These two were founded from Pentecostal Churches... Family First leader or former leader was Pastor/Rev Andrew Evans, he use to be my pastor when I was going to that Pentecostal Church all those years ago. True-believer
To answer the question about which one is more hostile: Religion or Politics? Politics is because it comes from two words: Poly--which means "Many" and Ticks--which means "Blood Sucking." I would hate to be in Politics... Also Religion is because you have the Muslim faith declaring a Holy War against us Christians. Muslims are after to kill all Jews and Christians to get a greater place in heaven. Just read their Koran--I downloaded there holy book on my laptop. LOL!!! Quote Luke 4:19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
