This is quite a change. And oh so quickly can the tide turn. Who would have thought that Obama would emplode so quickly. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Amid all the economic uncertainty and controversial government bailouts, President Barack Obama's job approval rating remains at 62 percent and includes a growing number of Americans who believe the country is moving in the right direction, according to a CBS News poll. Nearly nine out of 10 Americans think the economy is bad and expect it will take time for any real economic progress to occur — 50 percent think it will take anywhere between 1 to 2 years — according to the poll. A small sign that Americans are gaining a more positive outlook on the economy is the percentage drop in people very concerned about job loss as well as a drop in the percentage who say the economy is getting worse. I find that when there is a change in the White House, be it Dem to Dem, Repub to Repub, Dem to Repub, or repub to Dem, it takes awhile before things sort themselves out as to how things are going to go. And probably it will take a few years.
