CyberGuy
The most heated discussions are always politics and religion. It is what most wars are fought over as well. The most heated discussions on the forums was in 1995 during the womans ordaination debates. Some of the most hostile unforgiving discussions even calling for the dis fellowshipping of entire churches and conferences. SHHHHHSH. Depending if you could take it it was either a good time or a bad time. Quote Riverside CA
Dr. Shane
Let me explain what I mean about a person not being married to their positions. Marriage is supposedly for life. Of course in our modern society divorce is all too common but putting that aside - marriage is for life. My point is that if a person takes the position of not supporting recycling or supporting gay marriage, they are not married to either of those positions. They can later change their mind. They are under no obligation to continue embracing the same political view for their entire life. If that is so... then there is a distinction between a person and the political views they hold. So I should be able to criticize a political view without the person holding such a view feeling like I am criticizing him or her. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... If one does not pay his dues, he remains a visitor. Right? And visitors should not have the same rights to post as do the dues-paying members. IMHO. Dr. Shane
I think once a person registrars they become a member. They get a user name and a password. If they do not registrar then they are just visitors. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
