Moderators LynnDel Posted April 10, 2009 Moderators Share Posted April 10, 2009 Hi, all you pray-ers, My parents are visiting from Colorado, Dad now very sick with pneumonia, fever, cough, etc., not good for an 81-year-old guy with a bad heart. He's home for now, but if we can't get liquid and nourishment into him, will need to go into hospital. Your prayers needed! Members rudywoofs (Pam)
I'm praying for your Dad too, LynnDel.. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Members phkrause
Will also be praying for your dad. pk Quote phkrause By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}

Moderators LynnDel Posted April 15, 2009 Author Moderators Share Posted April 15, 2009 He has continued to improve - and was out enjoying the spring weather, helping with some needed work about the place before he and Mom flew back to their home yesterday. Both were disappointed that their many activities planned during visit with me were canceled due to a "bug." Dad has only one son and two daughters - maybe you're thinking of someone else, Jeannie? Thank you again, everyone, for your prayers. At the time I wrote in, asking for your prayers, Mom had been sitting by the bed, watching for him to breathe his last.
