However, Texas has the right to split into 5 other states, which means 10 red(neck) senators....Which could cause also problems in the senate currently..... If "most reports" are saying that, it only goes to show the kind of bias media people are listening to or viewing. One need only read the actual quote from Perry's own lips to see he is saying we have a great union. That is not encouraging succession. As far as the Civil War goes, Texas' problem there is that they were not alone. Texas was not trying to secede as a sovereign nation itself.
