I agree that the historical precedent is there, but does that make it something that we as Christians should advocate and support? There is historical precedent for every sin under the sun, but we still say that those other sins are wrong, and I say that political murder is wrong. Those are the methods of evil dictators and empire building. But we are a force for good in the world.
