There are certain sectors of the border where if you are crossing from Mexico with Less than 500 pounds of drugs ... they will just let you pass. No questions asked. Yes, I said five hundred. It's a cost-efficiency problem as the war on drugs is much larger than a mere 500 pound shipment. Maybe we should start another thread about all the illegal activity that law enforcement allows to happen without penalizing the citizens of the United States. Certainly, there's a lot more of that type of activity going on that what's happening on the borders. Hmm. Off to ponder a new thread...
