The cases reported in the US so far - 40 of them last time I checked the CDC site - have been things like school trips. There are also cases in Australia and New Zealand and all over the world where there are no illegals. So, basically, the long answer is also 'No'. And as for the flu being here, I suspect that it is here, and in greater numbers by CARRIERS....It's the carriers, both the known and unknown people who are bring it in.... I implied, tongue-in-cheek, that President Obama started the swine flu and ask why he didn't give it to Chavez and the answer I get is because he (Obama) didn't want to create an international incident. First, I don't think President Obama really started the swine flu. Second, if he did, why would infecting Hugo Chavez cause an international incident but infecting Mexico City not?
