I was about half way through it when I started paying close attention. This needs to be approached when you have a little time on your hands, as it is a tad lengthy. Reagan, bush I, Clinton, Bush II...you think those administrations were telling it straight? America's place in world history was prophecied back in the first century. If you think that will change be not voting for the present president, think again. Whatever was done with other presidencies has little bearing on the man that now holds office. This man has turned the presidency and it's role on it's head. He has walked over the constitution and has placed 31 czars,accountable to know one but him. He has targeted private citizens of the US. There are many actions that would have the same people yelling for resignation with any other president. While we have been meandering down the path for quite awhile,we are now in a foot race. The race is made worse because the supporters of Obama do not care how he gets there,"Mr President,just take care of us". Never before has this country stood in line waiting to hand over the president has grabbed and ask him to please do more of same. I do not believe any president has been involved in a conspiracy against christians,SDA's or otherwise. Nor do I agree with everything any past president has done. The past presidents are incapable of influencing or directing actions of the current administration. The ground work that has been laid only makes it far easier. I don't think obama has as a direction the persecution and death of christians. I do think he wants and is getting unprecedented powers. I do think many acts of his are laying new ground work that will make the end time events far easier to accomplish and seemingly overnight.When the time is right it will jump up and give a world of hurt. Will it be Obama putting end time events into action? Have no idea,but he is giving us a blueprint for future in how fast situations could change if he isn't. I do believe time is short. What short means I have no idea. 5 years,10,20 couldn't say. What will be the trigger "for our own good"? Don't know. I do know it is rather disconcerting to listen to those outside the SDA denomination that is really sounding the battle cry. SDA's are far more inclined to say as they do here."Well what about Bush and what he did" and they go right back to the fawning over Obama. In my neighborhood we have those that voted for Obama and they are getting very edgy. Edgy because of Obama's behavior. Wondering if he will usher in the events of Rev. Most of them have little knowledge of Rev itself only "the scary bits and pieces" heard over the years. I don't believe every action taken is a sign of the end. 1965 we lost all to a tornado. It was a occurrence far beyond anything we had ever experienced in MN before or since.The number of tornado's in a single area was almost beyond comprehension. Our 11 month old son was pulled away from his dad. It floored me to hear a SDA say,"Anyone can see we are in end times,it would have been merciful for God to allow your baby to "just go to sleep" Many have yelled end times far to often and for far to long. I don't run and hide when I see a black helicopter,I don't believe the military is preparing concentration camps for christians,etc. I do believe decisions made by this president show how laws put in place can quickly be more than just an obscure law. Obama has shown a willingness more than once now to target private citizens. This does not even produce a yawn. Everything about this man and those that mentored him is at the least socialist. There is a US political forum here that is private but open to anyone wanting to join. Some choose not to join because politics gets them too upset and for whatever reason, they cannot resist reading political threads when they see them. However anyone wanting to read or participate in the forum about US politics can become a member. The Word Affairs forum is set up more to discuss international politics that involve other countries outside of the US. This thread does appear that it should have been posted in the private section. People trying to say "It belongs here". OR . "It belongs there". IT does get tiresome. Some topics could honestly go in a number of different places.
