That should get rid of the slowness and the errors that we have been getting do to so many on at the same time. ALSO some new stuff will be coming, http://www.adventistbloggers.com/index.php for those who like to blog.. and need to.. plus other new toys... We will be able host website for members as well!! Peter Posted January 30, 2005 Share Posted January 30, 2005 You should get a dual P4 processor with 1 gig of Ram. By a dual processor I mean the server has TWO P4 processors. So if you think it's a great idea, pony up! Pledge an extra 5 bucks a month for CA, and if all of you do that, I'm sure Stan will dedicate it to serious server horsepower! Stan Posted January 30, 2005 Author Share Posted January 30, 2005 Contrary to some comments I am not doing this for profit, and overall am down ( Mostly from the first year expenses) The Expenses included Hosting and traffic fees Advertising (biggest one, our Google ads are turned off right now in order to catch up with expense) Software renewal and support Domain Name expenses The small token fee, is probably what is keeping this going so well. I got tired of begging, and understand 100% why PaulL also got tired of it. Those who pay.. participate more. Most of the troublemakers in the past left rather than do the 12 cents a day or so.. Those signing up now, by clicking in the top left corner, are getting 30 days free to test this, and $3.50 per month after that. I doubt if you could find a better use of 12 cents a day.
