Dr. Shane
Mom Jeans I think "mom jeans" are much better than all these low rider jeans out there. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Dr. Shane
I find bellies hanging out of hipster jeans a much greater turn-off than even the worse mom jeans. A lot of women look a whole lot more attractive in high-waist jeans than in hipsters. A lot has to do with how the jeans fit the person more so than the exact style of the jeans. My wife has some high-waist jeans that she looks very attractive in. She also has some hipsters that she looks good in. But she also has other high-waist and other hipsters that she doesn't look good in. Many women's rearends look too "packed in" in hipster jeans and look just fine in high-waist jeans. Outta Here
I will never understand why people are so obsessed with the way a person dresses. As long as the clothing is clean, fits properly, is not too constricting and is not too revealing of the flesh--what does it matter? Character comes from within the person, not from what he wears. Amelia
Working in convience stores all day, I have seen some of the worst of the worst. As long as some people get affirmative reactions from the opposite sex with the clothing they choose, they will continue to dress in that manner. Nothing you say will convince them different. It is up to the parents to raise their children to dress appropriately. Personally I would like to know why young girls think that bikinis are ok to wear into a store without covering up? Sheesh. Amelia
Shane, jeans that come up to just below the navel are not mom jeans. Those are called "mid rise" jeans. Mom jeans have to come up over the navel to the true waist. Neil D
And Shane, that elephant is definately showing too much skin for those jeans...Look, she can't even get them on!.....Definately not your Mom jeans.... Dr. Shane
Is it safe to say that "mid-rise" jeans were the norm during the '80s? That is all I can seem to remember seeing people wear. Dottie
If I'm a mom, why shouldn't I wear "mom jeans?" Besides, I thought they were dungarees... Also, I'd rather be known as a mom than a trollop.

GreatLakesGramma
OK guys. I agree those pictures are disgusting, but I've seen plenty of men dressed just as disgustingly, and worse. If you guys want to ridicule and condemn how some women dress, you'd better mind your P's and Q's about how YOU dress! Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Dr. Shane
I didn't intend for this thread to be just about women. Mom jeans on guys are loose jeans, I guess. I use to think they were the kind that hung down and showed the guy's underwear but if Obama was wearing mon's jeans, I didn't see his underwear. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... GreatLakesGramma
Olger, that guy is actually not so bad. At least his belly is not hanging over his waistband, nor is anything showing in the back that shouldn't. And please do NOT find one like that and post it here!
