bonnie
HEY BONNIE OBAMA does seem to have an arrogance about him dgrimm60 I think he is arrogant beyond belief, but he has a basis for thinking his actions will be accepted. From the very first, beginning with AIG he has shown his arrogance and contempt. He is contemptous of the constitution with his czars, accountable to know one but him.He has taken over more than 60% of a private auto industry, fires employee's of private companies. Absolutely flat out lies about Dr's removing organs for profit. Holds up the medical profession for his own brand of contempt. AND WHO on the left saw anything wrong? He will quite publically state he will have his union thugs hit back twice as hard. He said point blank he did not want to hear from those that opposed him. This is the president of the US. What he didn't anticipate was the "ignorant citizens fighting back".He seemed to think he was so far above reproach. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. Moderators lazarus Posted August 18, 2009 Author Moderators Share Posted August 18, 2009 Ignorance rather than arrogance is the greatest challenge here. Many are arguing against something they really don't understand. Why demonstrate against something that you benefit from? The contradiction and hypocrisy is sad. This has the same crazy "air" as the birther foolishness. Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. Woody
If BHO gets his hands on it we will. I like my Medicare. I appreciate that after my primary pays ... Medicare picks up the rest. SO I don't want BHO messin' things up. He has already messed up my credit card perks ... that was enough. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. bonnie
I haven't heard anyone arguing for the dismantling of Medicare/Medicade, on the contrary. It might be helpful for you to stick to what was said. This is not what I said. arguing for the dismantling of Medicare/Medicade, on the contrary. Medicare is technically bankrupt now.Only the government/supporters will overload a already overloaded system and call it intelligent. Forcing people that can and should pay their own way thru their own choice into a bankrupt system is stupid or worse. The dismantling medicare isn't what I said as you well know. Adding to a system by millions of people as an answer to the small numbers (50 million)that are without insurance. Even that number is deceptive. Over 10 million illegal aliens, over ten million that make more than 50,000 HAVE CHOSEN not to carry insurance. Over 10 million that already qualify for medicad simply have not sighed. So for a small number we get socialized medicine. It is not sustainable. Ask canada, they seem to be imploding with their great medical care. You might want to share with Obama as to what he is actually endorsing. He doesn't know as he has said If it is not sustainable with the numbers that are now using it. Services have to be cut. Obama has already told you with his desire for bundling medicare payments or giving granny a pain pill instead of medical treatment. I hope when not if (as this will pass eventually),you stand at the head of the line demanding the GC/Conferences be more responsible stewards of God's money and drop your medical coverage and pay the 8% to the friendly never ending medical care and tender mercies of the federal government. Have to watch it tho,Obama has it on good authority your child's DR might be the one ripping out their tonsils for profit Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. bonnie
Obama, the smartest man to be in the white house has managed to cause a mass migration of members from AARP. Shouldn't have been shooting off his mouth that AARP signed on to his idiot health care. Seems AARP had not done so and it cost them 60,000 members so far. Way to go. SO I don't want BHO messin' things up. He has already messed up my credit card perks ... that was enough. Medicare does do a reasonably good job. We were better off on a private plan. We no longer can have that type of coverage. Medicare has cost us in total cost more than our regular coverage did. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. Woody
Socialized medicine for 20% of my medical care ... is fine with me. I have private insurance and Medicare just picks up the 20% that is left over. So you could call me a 20% socialist. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won.
