Healthcare Reform is Pro-Life

It is a simple fact. Lack of affordable and accessible healthcare is one of the reasons that people choose to terminate difficult pregnancies.

"Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good."

"Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal."

"I love God only as much as the person I love the least."

*Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth.

(And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

I actively support crisis pregnancy centers and have heard many reasons why women choose abortion but this is the first time I have ever heard the claim they didn't have health care insurance.

Wonder why? Do a little research, most pregnancies are not terminated because they are difficult.

Health care is available under many options for those that cannot pay. Especially young unwed mothers.WIC is a very generous available program to feed and diaper the child.

I was pretty close recently to 2 young moms to be.

One married but no insurance. She received the same care as I would with insurance. The cost of pre-natal care, delivery and after care was scaled way back and they were placed on a very reasonable payment plan.

The other,a unwed young girl and on welfare Difficult pregnancy, the best of care including frequent tests and visits. Baby born early and had to stay. The young mom and the babies father were given sleeping in privileges so she would not have to be separated from her little one. She stayed till the baby was ready to come home 8 days later

I do not believe many abortions are provided because the mother doesn't have insurance.

If a woman wants the child she is carrying she is not going to look at her checkbook and decide to abort.

If she doesn't really want to go thru the 9 months the "no money" may soothe the guilt feelings

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

she will find away to give birth and what ever

There are various ways to get help. It is not lack of affordable medical care.

But I am sure that will be another big crisis to keep the health care bill limping along
