Who are you referring to? Those like Al Gore that have made millions in green or the serfs that need to flush their toilets only once a day?

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

They laughed at Semmelweis too...

What does he have to do with those like Al Gore making millions leaving massive carbon footprints that he whines at others for?

Al Gore is not climate change and climate change is not Al Gore

Then he has fooled a lot of people. He has also made a tremendous amount of money being the mouth of the so called "experts" on climate change.

His "convenient lie" was used in schools to brainwash the students. Except for those that were uncomfortable with his somewhat less than accurate statements and they pulled it from some schools.

He uses his name recognition to push the goals of the green crowd, except in typical hypocritical fashion lives as if he doesn't believe a word of his own hype

And since Al Gore is a meanie, we should destroy the environment for the fun of it! :D

You are taking a pretty good leap in judgement there. Your statement of "destroying the environment for fun" is as misleading and downright deceptive as Gore is

It has nothing to do with Gore being a meanie,he is a fraud.

I don't believe greenhouse gas is destroying the planet.

Should we pollute our countryside and water? No.

There are many "educated" individuals that don't believe the greenhouse gas hysteria.

It is interesting how the phrase "global warming" is being replaced with climate change recently. Maybe that is because we don't seem to have had global warming in the last decade. Now it is a relatively safe statement by 2030 we will have another climate change. We have always had climate change in cycles.

On Al Gore, I agree: he meant well but it would be better if he'd kept his mouth shut, because now he gives people an easy way to ignore the real issues. But climate change is happening (and so is global warming, as anyone who actually looks at the data can see) no matter what Al Gore does or doesn't do. Al Gore is utterly irrelevant, and the only people who talk about him much are those who are using him to duck the issue.

Truth is important

...and there is no other appropriate word but 'lie' for the claim that 'we have not seen warming in the past decade'.

I've linked this video before, but it makes the point very clearly. http://www.bravus.com/blog/?p=1289

But if you don't want to watch the video, just look at the actual data.

The *only* way you get that claim is by cherry-picking 1998 and 2008. Since we're near the end of 2009, you should start in 1999 to make claims about 'the past decade' (if you're going to cherry-pick points rather than use a line of best fit as as best practice in science)... and if you do what you see is significant warming.

No matter what color we are, the truth will always be important.

People that mean well do not do so by being frauds.

Climate change has always happened and will till Christ comes.

You are assuming that the many, many highly educated people that do not agree with you are doing so because they have not read the data.

Al Gore is not utterly irrelevant. He pushes quite effectively with certain groups what the "global warming" alarmists push.

Because there are those that disagree with you on the relevance of Al Gore does not mean it is done because they are ducking the issue.
