The family that has been so appalled at his actions have made sure he does not talk to authorities before they get a attorney to him Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. Dr. Shane
He will be assigned a military attorney. He has hired a civilian attorney who will be able to make sure he doesn't have his rights violated and may help his military attorney with case prep but will not be allowed to defend him in the military court as far as I know. Dr. Shane
Well, since he is Muslim, maybe it would be OK to punish him like they to over in Iran. We could tie him up in a gunny sack and throw him over a cliff. If he survives he can then be hanged until dead. That is how they treat adulterers in Iran. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Moderators John317 Posted November 10, 2009 Moderators Share Posted November 10, 2009 I do believe that if found guilty by a military court, he should be sentenced to death. If anyone can murder people like he did and not be executed, then no one ought to be executed ever again. Some are saying that he was "harassed" for being Muslim, but I don't know how anyone can harass a major in the US military. If he had reported this harassment, anyone who did the harassing would have been punished severely. The military doesn't permit its officers to be harassed. As far as I know, he never did report any harassment. Yet even if he was harassed, that's certainly no excuse for doing what he did. Shoot, I sometimes got harassed but I didn't even think of hurting anyone, much less killing them. Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

You know it is a form of dishonesty to stretch and strain what was said to suit your purposes. I said nothing about mistreating him because he is a muslim. I do think he is like so many cowardly at heart I know if I were in his shoes I would be hoping and praying I was not treated as I had just treated others. Maybe have to fear some of the soldiers from the base. Usually the big and brave that will shoot a pregnant woman wants to make sure he is protected It is fairly typical for those that cowardly commit a heinous act to be suddenly concerned about their own welfare. The sex offender that killed a young college student here a few years ago after beating and raping her, actually started crying and demanding they protect him from other prisoners. There are those extremely brave with a bomb, knife, gun and then turn quite cowardly when their delicate little backside may be in danger. While there may be a temptation to treat him to the same tender mercies but then those that do become no different Other than that stick to what was said.
