Curious if democrats on the forum are seen as strong willed or just "right". Being strong willed in what you believe is now "wrong"? I was always taught to make sure of what you believe and be willing to stand behind it as someday that is what we will need to get thru some tough times. Of course, those that can't handle others challenging their political ideology and preconceived ideas may not want to venture in there. Oh no, Redwood...you miss-understand....You see, those of us in my forum got tired of those people- who abandoned their Adventist roots in favor of increasoningly conservatism with a republican flavor who abandoned their Christian principles for the ubber pottage of conservatism, who would rather talk down toward people with different ideas.... who would rebut a logical rational argument with bumpersticker retorts We got tired of all that...we don't see eye to eye on many things, but we don't do the above. Sometimes we agree to disagree because we cherish the ability to bounce ideas off of others and for thier friendship rather than sell out to a political party..Our mind is much more sane now with the rest of the agitators limited to Political forum.... But as far back as I can remember most SDAs have always been republican, and always, even on the pulpit, tried to get others to vote that way. I remember went Kennedy was running that was unreal how the pastors fell over there words, that they couldn't get out fast enough, of how the world as we knew it would end. Well we are still here, and if given the chance I think Kennedy would have been in the top 3 best presidents of my life time. He also had the best quote of any president in my life time.
