Especially considering that I have the guts to stand up to the Chinese from time to time, while you're basically groveling and praying that they don't decide to divest their dollar holdings. It comes across as arrogant ignorance. Obama has done things like that so often your would think he would learn,Either that or his many advisers that have a better grasp of the appropriate conduct in the many diverse people Obama meets. This article here is taken out of the National Review, which is a conservative magazine so we really wouldn't expect to find a flattery article about Obama. "Yours is the first official state visit of my presidency, its fitting that you and India be so recognised." The remark does come off as a bit tacky but we haven't seen reported what his remarks have been to heads of state when visiting them in their own countries.
