Her surgery that was scheduled for Tuesday, has been canceled because they determined her tumor was not on her left kidney as they thought. I don't know her personally, but she did live in the area here for a while. I'm not sure but they might have been born and rasied here. Also when 3ABN came here to the College Church a number of years ago I got to meet her. Help the doctors to know how to help Becky, and, in Your will, please heal her. Comfort Brenda and hold her close. Help her to trust her and give her the gift of faith to help her through this time. My big sis is really close to her--they were co-authors on a book. The day is not here yet for the 'power of the holy people' where they will do things like Jesus did. It is coming soon though! carole1012 Posted February 20, 2010 Share Posted February 20, 2010 I just talked with Brenda. She wanted me to give you all an update on Becky. A few days before Christmas, becky was given only 6 months to live. But, they did thyroid surgery, and removed her thyroid and the tumor. She became cancer free. BUT, now, there is a new tumor on the other side of her neck. They don't know if it is malignant or not, but there is a good chance it is. For a family who is such a believer in prayer and your love, this is a test for them. I pray that their faith be strong even unto death if need be. But Lord may they not be shaken. These assaults on your loved ones only make us look with hope to the promised day of deliverance. Please be with the tumours, Becky's body and the medical staff attending her. Please be with the family in a powerful way and I pray that Your presence may be felt in that situation and that Your name be glorified in this. In the precious name of Jesus, we thank You. Amen !
