Dr. Shane Posted December 13, 2009 Share Posted December 13, 2009 Our breaking news last week was eight people killed in a shoot out between Mexican Army soldiers and drug traffickers on the tourist strip in the town where we do missionary work just 12 miles south of our home. The drug traffickers ended up crashing their truck into the same building where some of our church members there own a pharmacy. The international bridge was closed for three hours and hundreds of American tourists wanted to get out as fast as they could. They were interviewing them on the news saying they would never go back to Mexico again. Didn't stop us from going to church there this morning. Seemed like the town was full of tourists for a place where blood was literally running down the streets just a few days ago. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
