Liz
One of my childhood friends, crashed his plane just off of Padre Island. They were able to recover his brother-in-law but as of this morning they still haven't found Harvey. They have also recovered the plane but he wasn't inside. He also has some kids, I think the oldest is only around 15 and then he has a couple that are younger than my ten year old. I didn't know his brother-in-law but I know he had a family too. Please pray that they find him, and for comfort for these families especially at this time of year. And also please tell your loved ones how much you love them, make up with anyone you are on the "outs" with, because life is fragile and can be gone in the blink of an eye. (((Hugs to all of you))) Quote For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Mat. 16:26Please, support the JDRF and help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Administrators Gail Posted December 13, 2009 Administrators Share Posted December 13, 2009 Oh, Liz, it just never ends with you, this heartache! Lord, we lift up this family to You, who might still not know the whereabouts of their beloved father and husband. You know where he is, Lord. Please help the rescuers know where to look. And Father, I also lift Liz to You, as she courageously goes through life. She is such a joy and cheers everyone around her. We so appreciate her and it seems that she gets her share of difficult news to handle. I pray for strength for her, to uphold her as she supports others. In the loving name of Jesus- amen :) Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. Liz
Thank you all for praying, Gail you are ever so sweet. They found him. Please continue praying for the families, they will have to move forward without husbands, fathers, brothers and sons. It makes me physically ill when I think about it. Members rudywoofs (Pam)
I'm so sorry you lost your friend, Liz. I'll be remembering the families in prayer as well.. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Members phkrause
Liz will be keeping these families in our prays. pk Quote phkrause By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}
