Very interesting there Richard. But we actually didn't lose a Jewish nation. They are still around and each time they are knocked down they get up again. They get back to where they were and continue on, becoming stronger each time. They don't wine, and say poor me, they just go about there business. Even though they might not be the chosen people anymore, they are still God's heritage to all christian's. They are still a great example of not just sitting on there laurels but continuing to be productive people of society, much more than there Muslim brothers and sisters, not all mind you but a small percentage, who think terror is the only way. Actually Richard if I'm not mistaken, wasn't that some of the problems in the old Yugoslavia? The Christians, Muslims and Serbs killing each other and so they split the country up? Just throwing that out, not to discount what you said!

Interesting, hadn't heard that. I wonder if that is good or bad?

I was listening to NPR or was it 60 minutes where they were talking with a security guy for Ben Geurin Airport in Israel, and he was saying that the reason's that they are safer is because of profiling. Also they check everyone, even Israeli's. They have a pretty good track record these past 15-20 years because of profiling, so its hard to say which way to go. We might be safer with profiling but it does make for sticking situations.

What you consider them is really immaterial.Those that are what you call radical terrorists consider themselves true muslims.They act on what they believe or claim to believe.

Since bible times human beings have killed other human beings.Sometimes at God's direction. Different time and different mindset altogether.

There was nothing mentioned or implied about getting rid of all muslims.You are adding your own words to the words of someone else.

Freedom ends where you infringe on the rights of others. I don't think freedom of religion means someone gets to blow me into a gajillion pieces because he does not like my religion,skin color or country I am from.

Nor do I think freedom of religion means to ignore the obvious

so we remain politically correct.

I have not heard of muslims being denied their religious freedom and to worship how they please. Just don't blow my family up in their claim to religious freedom

And yet... nobody seems to be especially concerned about a Spanish newspaper bashing Muslims and calling them stupid. Do you guys know where all of this is going? There is a relatively new phenomenon among some Christian groups in America. It's sometimes referred to as "Christian Jihadism".

The rationales come from the OT where God instructed the Israelites to go into the various heathen lands they were passing through, overwhelm them and in some cases initiate a holocaust.

All of this was done in the name of God. For some (notice I say some) Muslims, their Jihad is predicated by an exhortation from the Koran to kill the infidels. It's as if we're watching a mirror image of historical events.

It's sad, but killing in the name of God has been and will be, going on for a long time!

I don't know if what I read was taken out of context,time will tell as I read more.

If all that the Koran can come up with is a favorable mention of the gospels,that is not much to recommend the Koran.

I am sure there are muslims that are not violent,but there is obviously a lot that are. The instruction they are getting seems to lack a little.

Islam has been put on such a high untouchable place that no one must question or object to any of their actions.
