Stan Posted April 4, 2010 Share Posted April 4, 2010 Robert W. "Bob" Bidwell, 72, Arpin, died Thursday, April 1, 2010. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church, Arpin. Burial is in Bethel Cemetery. Robert was born March 11, 1938, in Arpin. He retired in 1970 from Nekoosa Papers and operated an in-home fruit and produce business. He is survived by his mother, Ruby Bidwell of Arpin; his wife, Dorothy (Salzwedel) Bidwell of Arpin, two sons, three daughters, four step-children; one brother, John (Marlene) Bidwell of Nekoosa; and one sister, Ruth Sackett of Henderson, N.C. He also is survived by five grandchildren and 13 step-grandchildren. Visitation is from noon until 2 p.m. today at the church. A complete obituary will be in Monday's Marshfield News-Herald.
