SivartM
I'll have to keep my eyes open for these dangerous characters! Do you think Jan Paulsen is a Quaker infiltrator? He's kind of concerned about social issues. Quote "Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much." - Oscar WildeDo to others whatever you would like them to do to you. aldona
I will have to have a word to head office...these are not available in Australia. How are we supposed to infiltrate the church here if we can't provide these for church potlucks? Somehow I think the original Mr Cadbury (who was a Quaker) would approve... SivartM
I thought that was Jesuits? Or are Quaker infiltrators being infiltrated by Jesuits infiltrators? Dr. Shane
We have a doctor in our church that really seems to encourage people to eat a lot of oatmeal. That is rather suspicious now that I think about it. He has a short white beard too, and shaves off his mustache. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Stan
not sure anyone has broken that code yet. They tend to be vocal against war, and do not show photos of themselves for some reason. Amelia
Aldona, I did a little research and found that Quakers have 3 styles. aldona
Aldona, I did a little research and found that Quakers have 3 styles. Plain, modest abd plain modern. check out http://www.quakerjane.com Wow, Quaker Jane is certainly at the more conservative end of the spectrum. I don't think I could go that far in adopting "plain dress" but full marks to her for standing up for what she believes and not being afraid to go against the prevailing culture. Here's a site I like to visit sometimes. Quaker Shop My favorites: - Plain white or grey T-shirt that says "This Is My Plain Dress" Other T-shirt slogans: - "Don't Speak Unless You Can Improve The Silence" - "Who Said Quakers Don't Dance?" - a picture of herding cats with "Quaker Clerk At Work" - "When Jesus said 'love your enemies', I'm sure he meant don't kill them" - "Will Work For Peace" - and lots of products with what is probably the most loved and often quoted Bible verse in Quaker circles, Micah 6:8 - "Do Justice, Love Kindness, Walk Humbly with thy God".
