Stan Posted May 19, 2010 Share Posted May 19, 2010 Ruby E. Bidwell, 97, of 7795 Puff Creek Blvd., Arpin, died Monday, May 10, 2010, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 23, at Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church in Arpin. Burial will take place at a later date in Bethel Cemetery. Ruby was born May 20, 1912, in Danhoff, N.D., to Johannes J. and Ida (Seibel) Suelzle. She married John B. Bidwell on Sept. 9, 1929 in Sisseton, N.D.; he preceded her in death July 31, 1993. Ruby did upholstery work and was a caregiver and homemaker. Survivors include a son, John R. (Marlene) Bidwell of Nekoosa; a daughter, Ruth M. Sackett of Hendersonville, N.C.; one brother, Merle (Linda) Suelzle of Washington; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Sunday, May 23, at Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church in Arpin. Buchanan Funeral Home in Pittsville handled arrangements.
