Twilight you some good points. I've mentioned this to cardw before, that it seems from what I'm reading of his posts, that even though he speaks out against Christianity he acts like one. It seems he tries very hard to distance himself from Christianity. I believe Christianity requires a lot of Faith, there is not a lot of evidence per say. We have to trust (have faith) that what we read in the Bible is true. I also believe that all these other things, like evolution, etc., also require faith! Its our choice, to what we want to put our trust it. I prefer the Bible and Jesus Christ. That's where I put my faith. Each one of us has to make our own choice, and that's what cardw has done. And even though, like I've mentioned before, if he wants to admit it or not, I find him to be more christian like than most here on the forum. Quote phkrause By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}

Anyone who opposses the Gospel, should not be credited with behaviour that is in line with the Gospel. Quote The best wisdom is always second hand...
