Stan Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 ZANESVILLE: Patricia Ann Opdyke, 83, of Zanesville, passed away at her residence Wednesday, August 11, 2010. She was born October 3, 1926 in Jackson Center, Ohio to the late Willis and Lula Clay Davis. She was the retired owner/operator of Zanesville Fabricators. Patricia was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church where she was the Community Service Center Leader which includes the Food Bank and Red Cross Blood Donations and was the former Treasurer for the Church. She was a wonderful wife, housewife and loving mother. Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Eber Opdyke; son, Bret (Cheryl) Opdyke of Newark; and daughters, Debby Opdyke of Lipscomb, Texas and Karen (Bob) Poland of Zanesville. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by a brother, Loyal Davis; and two sisters, Luella Berling and Myra Lee Miller. It was Patricia's desire to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 824 Taylor St., Zanesville. The service will be officiated by Pastor Tom Hughes at that time. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Zanesville Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School, and Worthy Student Fund. The SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W.
