Administrators Gail Posted September 13, 2010 Administrators Share Posted September 13, 2010 This morning on the way to work I was listening to a radio discussion on why the amount of Canadian aid to Pakistan for their flood situation was much lower than that to Haiti (earthquake). Is it that same in the country where you live (in those who provide emergency aid)? I am wondering what will happen when the economies of the richer countries will not allow for relief aid anymore. If the disasters happen too rapidly, that could very well happen. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. Gordon1
Hi Gail, If we follow Biblical logic, then by burying our aid in the sand when it could have been put to good service, we will be held accountable when the master returns. As similar disasters strike us we'll have nowhere to turn. Unfaithful stewards will be our sentence.
