BobRyan
Christine O'Donnell did a great job! 100% correct! The words "Separation of church and state" DO NOT appear in the first ammendment. Nor is there anything at all in the first ammendment about "not admitting to intelligent design when you find it". Her political apponent in this case was clueless and she proved it by asking him if he actually knew what the 5 freedoms are that are guaranteed by the first ammendment -- he said he was clueless. http://michellemalkin.com/2010/10/19/chris-coons-cant-name-the-five-freedoms-in-the-first-amendment/ As for intelligent design vs the wild mythology of evolutionism - O'Donnell was 100% correct again! The first ammendment is prohibiting a federal "Church". A "Church of America" be that Baptist, or Catholic or Methodist etc. It says nothing about "not admitting to intelligent design when you find it". Evolutionism seeks to "imagine" for students that "birds come from reptiles" - all the science in the world not withstanding. O'Donnell deserves a landslide victory if the voters are willing to apply some critical thinking instead of just swallowing ACLU kool aide whenever instructed to do so. in Christ, Bob Quote John 8:32 - The Truth will make you free“The righteousness of Christ will not cover one cherished sin." Moderators lazarus Posted October 19, 2010 Author Moderators Share Posted October 19, 2010 Quote: The words "Separation of church and state" DO NOT appear in the first amendment. He didn't say that the words "separation of church state" appears in the first amendment. He mentioned the principle comes from the first amendment. Did you watch the video? She didn't get that in the same way she was ignorant of the other amendments mentioned. How the Constitution be a litmus test if you not sure what it says?
