The two major political parties seem to be trying to outdo each other to show who is more harsh and unfair to refugees. And the lack of compassion in much of the reader feedback in the popular newspapers is getting worse. People are not ashamed to post messages to the effect of "they deserved it, they had no right to try to come here."
