Moderators Bravus Posted February 12, 2011 Moderators Share Posted February 12, 2011 I think it's a lot like the phrase 'What Would Jesus Do?' That is, nice in theory, but *waaaay* too open to us imposing our own biases and assumptions on it. It's easy to assume, for example, that 'she' might change her views on some things in the light of current science - but she flew in the face of the current science of the day in her time, what makes us think that would change? So, what we say she would say is really a judgement call, and given what's riding on 'her' imprimatur there's a lot of temptation to say that she would back up our favoured views. I agree with you Bravus. It really is a judgment call, and it would probably be pretty much how we feel. I think there is no way to really answer that.
