Moderators Nan Posted April 1, 2005 Moderators Share Posted April 1, 2005 I am glad this child is being brought up the right way. Running more tests will either permit the condition to get better of its own accord, or give the medico time to make further enquiries.
aldona
I can relate to this!!! We never read about boo-boos or owies in our medical textbooks. 90% of what we see does not resemble those pictures in the textbooks in any way. aldona Quote www.asrc.org.au (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Melbourne)Helping over 2000 refugees & asylum seekers each monthIMSLP/Petrucci Music LibraryThe Public Domain Music Score Library - Free Sheet Music DownloadsLooking for classical sheet music? Neil D
I wonder.... Does respiratory medicine come under 'BooBoo' or 'Owie'? Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw
Moderators Nan Posted April 1, 2005 Moderators Share Posted April 1, 2005 Not sure about that Neil. I do ask those at work who still smoke (not SDA institutions !!) if they are going outside for some inhalational therapy.
aldona
When my husband & I were both still students, he had a job in a factory one summer holiday break. One of the other guys who worked there drove a souped-up ex-ambulance that he had modified, decorated, etc. At lunchtime one day, about 5-6 men were standing around this vehicle, looking into the engine compartment and admiring the superior gadgetry, and every single one of them had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. My husband walked past and said, "Is this the special Mobile Lung Cancer Unit?" not sure how well that went down... aldona Quote www.asrc.org.au (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Melbourne)Helping over 2000 refugees & asylum seekers each monthIMSLP/Petrucci Music LibraryThe Public Domain Music Score Library - Free Sheet Music DownloadsLooking for classical sheet music? Neil D
Today, I saw a little girl, named marsha....Asked her to define an ouwie and a booboo... Did you know that a bug bite is an ouwie and a scrape is a booboo? Apparently, anything that is outside of you that hurts you is an owie where as anthing that you do, scrap knees ect, is a booboo.... That's official from "marsha", a 3 or 4 year old.... Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve.
