Members phkrause
Excellent article. Quote phkrause By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}

Dr. Shane
All the points he covered have been covered here many times and there are many points he missed. It is very comforting that the church leadership is not giving in to the loud voices that would like to see compromise on this issue. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... CoAspen
Quote: If there’s no Creation . . .. . . where, and how, did sin enter the world? . . . why do we need a Savior? . . . from what did God, if He even exists, rest? . . . why should we rest if, absent Creation, there’s nothing from which God rested? . . . how can we believe anything else in the Bible? I fail to see why not believing in a literal 6 day creation does away with God. Six, 24, 30 days or whatever does not change my view about God being the creator. It would seem for the author that one can't throw out the bath water with out throwing out the baby! is our belief in God only because of the Creation story or is it because of the WHOLE story?
