Gregory W. White, at 57, Boston native, carpenter

Gregory W. White of Atlanta, formerly of Boston, a carpenter, died Dec. 15 in Atlanta. He was 57.

Born and raised in Boston, Mr. White was a former resident of Franklin and moved to Georgia in 1996.

He attended Berea Seventh-day Adventist Academy in Dorchester and graduated from Franklin High School in 1973. He attended Northeastern University in Boston.

Mr. White was a master carpenter and worked privately before being employed by many different businesses.

He loved to bowl and was a regular golfer. Mr. White was also very active in the church as an usher and sang in the men’s choir at the West End Seventh-day Adventist Church, Atlanta.

Mr. White is survived by two daughters, Liana of California, Kedejia of Hyde Park; a son, Kaleil of Boston; his mother, Elouise White of Franklin; a sister, Brenda Roylance of Orlando, Fla.; a brother Kevin of Hudson; eight grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at West End Seventh-day Adventist Church, Atlanta.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park, Ga.

Arrangements by Willie A. Watkins Historic West End Chapel, Atlanta.
