After seeing how long it took the US to subdue the Iraqi military (something the Iranians couldn't do in 7 years of fighting)you'd think that they'd try a less belligerent tactic. After reading in the Scriptures how so many kings made so many stupid moves because God "wanted" to destroy them ya gotta wonder what's going on here? Its not hard to see, look at Saddam, he knew what the Bible said about Babylon, that it would never be rebuilt, but yet he tried anyway. And look how that turned out.
