CGMedley
Is it wrong for Adventists to attend movie theaters? Are we raising kids ill-equipped to discern a good film from a bad one? Andy Nash tackles these hot-button questions in this week's Adventist Review. http://www.adventistreview.org/issue.php?issue=2012-1523&page=
thx4mercy
Whether in the theater or the living room, I don't think the majority of most Christian adults are watching Christlike things. They're like the frog in the kettle of water, the temperature slowly being turned up and they no longer even think about the sinfulness of the stuff they are laughing at, etc. They seem to think nothing anymore of sitting through programs that are filled with "Oh GOD's" etc. So yea, we can't expect the kids to have a desire for spiritual things. There are, of course, a small percentage being brought up well.
