Parenting Rocks

Uh... I quit parenting my pet rocks when they turned 10. Rocks mature faster than children apparently.

Hmmm. . . Nice blog, waiting for more! Wanted to leave a note, but that would mean I'd have to sign in to yet another place and take note of yet another password. I didn't really think about what you meant by "Parenting Rocks" until I read Clio's note - which is exactly how I took it. I, too, was thinking that "parenting" was not a noun, and that "rocks" was!

Hehe - yeah, we were kind of aware of that potential misunderstanding: but I guess at least it makes the site name memorable! <img src="/ubbtreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Thanks for your kind words.

I knew what you meant, but the pun of playing parent to a rock also came to mind. I was gonna say something witty about it but Clio beat me to it! smile.gif

To play into the analogy/pun a bit more, you must be using stone solid principles to make impressions deep upon your children's minds....And I find it curious that, at least from the pictures of your children, that they are NOT deformed. grin.gif

We've settled on posting something new every Monday, so that people know what to expect. Suzie and I will probably take turns, but we hope to get the girls to do a guest post now and then too. (I'm writing more this month because Suzie is working, taking classes (in adult education) and teaching classes (in office skills and job seeking) - she's crazy busy, but I'm sooo proud of her!)

Anyway, here's the latest: http://parentingrocks.blogspot.com/2005/07/in-our-family.html

In all seriousness Bravus, nice blog. I think having healthy parenting role models out there where people can see them is an awesome thing.

By having it on the net, you never know who will stumble across it (yeah right, there are NO coincidences!!) just when they need it most. Abba Father is great at using the tools at hand.
