Pray for my aunt and cousin, please.

Today my aunt and cousin were driving from Lomda Linda out here to the Southern California desert when my aunt's car had a blow-out and threw her car off the 10 highway tumbling over a few times and landing short of the edge of a cliff. Luckily, by the grace of God, a farmer's fence was there to stop the car from rolling.

My aunt suffered a broken neck and broken ribs and many cuts and other things we do not know yet. Presently they are doing catscans and MRIs. My cousin suffered a torn shoulder, back injuries and many lacerations also.

My aunt is 63 and lives with us sometimes. She was on her way out here to be with us. Her name is Jo Ann and my cousin's name is Tammy. Please keep them and their families in your prayers. I would greatly appreciate it.

Love, Mark

What a terrible experience. God has been with them thus far and still is.

Prayers,

Mark,

They certainly had a "hair-raising" experience. I am praying that their recovery will be swift and complete. Please keep us informed of their progress.

Hi everyone.

Thank you to everyone of my brothers and sisters who have been praying for my aunt Jo Ann. Here's an update.

She ended-up with both a broken back in 2 places and a broken neck and all of her ribs broken and teeth.

She was hospitalized for about 1 month and now stays at home wearing a large metal "halo" with metal rods that go into her skull. She's in much pain

My aunt will wear this halo for 3-4 months and then following a less-heavier one with a neck brace only.

HELP. My aunt is suffering now from multiple boils that are appearing where her sheep-skin clothed halo braces exist.

We're not sure how to help resolve the issue of the boils, or how to make it softer where the brace on her chest and back and ribs are. We're not even sure how to wash her hair. We tried some plastic trash can bags and used duct tape around her neck.

Does anyone know anything about a halo or any hints we can use? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you family.

Hi Mark, we will pray for her and your cousin. It sounds bad, how is she handling this? Please let her know that the children of God are praying for her.

Sincerely,

Norman

I am praying for your relatives, God knows and God hears the prayers of the penitent! I do hope for healing and relief!

I don't mean to be negative in such a situation but principle calls for a comment from the original post, I wouldn't refer to it as,"luck", but it is Providence that promotes the continuing of life without more of a tragedy.

My friend is also going through pain from many years of illness so I hear about it regularly. I add your relatives to my list, and not only a list but pray that God will put words in me that He knows are for the best!

Another friend and I were in an accident a couple of years ago that broke a portion of her neck and my knee and various other injuries. We have kept the faith as Job and I hope that these are as well. I don't mean to make any comparison, as one poster stated,"hair raising", and I state that it's very emotional, as mine did not come close.

May God bless as you serve them with kindness and love and may His mercies abound!
