Administrators Gail Posted July 15, 2005 Administrators Share Posted July 15, 2005 There is a store in the Vancouver area in the news these days because they sold 14 copies of the new H.P. book BEFORE the release date. I heard a conversation on the radio between a DJ who had one of these contraband books and the manager of that department of the store. When questioned, the manager was not a happy camper. I think he was thinking his job was in danger... Playing by the rules as far as release dates go is a big deal. It is for music as well. I continually get warning messages that come with new releases saying that if our store is ever caught with inventory on the store shelves before it is supposed to be then the distributor simply won't ship it to us any more until after the date Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. It appears that those 14 people are under a gag order not to reveal the ending of the book and to return the book to receieve one after the release date.
