Barbara
I don't want a sunny day. It was too hot here yesterday. ON the other side of town it was 103 degrees. I would like to have a cloudy grey day. Moderators Bravus Posted July 19, 2005 Moderators Share Posted July 19, 2005 Well, it's sunny here today, but it's only gonna be 61 F. <img src="/ubbtreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I don;t have quite the same reaction to eggs as Ed W, but I have to admit 'double-yolkers' always freak me out a bit - they seem like mutant eggs! Clio
It's supposed to be 70 degrees F here today. I'd like to wish everyone a Son-filled day today. And for the record... I *like* eggs! Clio Quote A heart where He alone has first place.

Clio
98 in *Portland*?????? yikes! Although, you should know... when it hits 70 here... I melt. That's 130 degrees warmer than it was on my porch this past winter... and is positively sweltering. edited to add: What's your favorite way to eat eggs? Mine is an old farmer's breakfast that is now being poorly imitated as "skillets" in places like Denny's. My grandmother made it, and now I do. Diced potatoes and onions cooked crispy, beaten eggs poured over it to cook... topped with a little cheese. Eat with favorite vegepucky... or no vegepucky, homemade biscuits, homemade jam, fruit and OJ... Mmmmmm..... Scrambled with onions is good too. Clio Quote A heart where He alone has first place. Amelia
Everyone of those double yolkers came from the same carton purchased at the local grocery store. Someone smart do the odds. But I think when a hen finally turns loose of her egg, even telling everyone with in shouting distance, that it does "drop" [not hover or fly]. Thus "droppings". Now if there are other "dropping" from chicken, I refuse to go there on a subject I know little. Maybe Col Sanders knows more than me.
