Your salute that never gets weerie of well wishing is showing respect to my true colors, thank you! Reminds me of every time when leaving the Naval ship I was stationed on for 4 years, I would look at Old Glory and give her a salute and when returning do the same and look at the officer on deck and say, "permission to come aboard sir". Yes I had much rather be respected for the truth I am honored to bare than to be liked for bringing these truth out from under rugs being ignored/slighted/rejected & such.

Nan am I different in judging "honesty" than most everyone you know??? If you NEVER engage in doing the same I suppose you NEVER lock you car or home and always walk down skid row of a major city late at night knowing that "honesty" exist everwhere??

With all the "moonlighting" going on against the construction trades by trained wrong Dr. suppose I wanted to "moonlight" against your profession and try my hand at tieing a womens tubes, something I have a hankering to do. How far do you think that baloon would get off the ground? After all I proffess to be honest in my endevor. Is my "honesty" going to be questioned? I sure hope so!!

Ed I am not trying to have this develop into a slanging match.

You are using generalisation as a rebuttal - it is not a logical method in this instance. All know that there are places on earth where commonsense procedures to reduce risk from criminal attack are mandatory.

You suggested that histopathological diagnoses would be fudged to produce income for a health care facility. The pathological slides on which the diagnoses are based are preserved and are available for review. Reputable pathologists will get a second opinion from a colleague if in doubt, especially if the doubt involves malignancy.

Obviously I cannot speak for your part of the world but that is how things are done at hospitals where I work.

I will never mind to have my knowledge questioned because it is faulty daily, but when most of my posts contain the authority of a prophet we as Adventist profess to the world we belive in, I think my lack of knowledge is not the REAL problem. I goes much deeper than that, it is more on the level of submitting to authority.

Good point Gerry. It is good to read her books but we need to take in concederation that some of what she wrote was for people in her time.

I think what you are really saying, Ed, is that we are refusing to submit to YOUR authority, since we are refusing to accept YOUR OWN definitions, and YOUR interpretations.
