Dear person,

Being an artist who is currently living, Mrs. Gray is certainly a modern artist. The bubble idea is intriguing, but what a lot of people don't realize, and what the website does not explain, is that if you mix in a bit of superglue, your bubbles can last indefinitely.

There is nothing as disappointing to a young child as creating a giant bubble only to have it burst within seconds. Add the glue so that it can last a lifetime. It's simple and effective.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Gray

Or...how about making the Best Ever Vanilla Ice Cream with the kids? I did it with our 7-8 and 9-10 Year kids and at camp meeting this past week. They were out playing soccer for their afternoon activity. It was hot and then they got to make and eat this. They loved it!

1 cup milk (don't think substitutes will work for this)

1 cup whipping cream

1/3 cup sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla

salt, to cover ice

ice

medium Ziploc bag

large Ziploc bag

oven mitts or mitts (we didn't use any and they survived though it was cold)

In a bowl mix milk, cream, sugar and vanilla (I did this ahead of time). Pour mixture into medium Ziploc bag. Squeeze out the excess air and seal the bag well. Fill bottom of large Ziploc bag with ice. Sprinkle with salt. Place medium bag with milk mixture inside large bag on top of ice. Fill top of large bag with ice, sprinkle with salt. Squeeze out the excess air and seal the bag well. Toss the bag gently for about 10 minutes or until ice cream is frozen. Wear mitts so your hands don't freeze. Remove ice cream bag from large bag. Rinse under cold water to remove salt, and wipe dry. Cut a corner of the bag and squeeze the ice cream into a bowl. *Adding salt to the ice help make the ice cream get colder, faster. Makes about 2 servings.
