CWhetmore
The pictured ad is actually for the children's book, "The Story of Ping". Briefly, it's the adventures of Ping, a little duckling who's always late getting back on the boat, each evening, because he's so distracted. The last duck climbing up the ramp gets a swat. One day he decides he doesn't want the swat (note the included paddles), so runs away, exploring the Yangtze River, in China.
Ellen
Jay Leno used this ad with his odd news segment. I have a hard time believing your version, CWhetmore. Good one.
CWhetmore
"The Story of Ping" is a real book. While weaving a nice tale of a duckling's adventures, it paints great images of life on the Yangtze River. My kids loved it. Click on the link (the book title) in my prior post, to see the book. Um, as to believable explanations, the wink should've been a hint as to the desired results, actually quite similar to the results desired by Jay!
