Violence with the election coming up in October is feared. He has been on my prayer list since he went and will continue to pray for his safety. It is difficult for the family back home to know their child is in a war torn country. God can protect us anyplace. When my brother, wife and small children lived in The Congo they closed the boarders several times, changed out the money, censored the mail, and raided missions, etc. It was really difficult being here and hearing about the events. Thankfully we did not have the news and net coverages that we have today. I don't think Mother could have survived at home. Poor thing would have been on her knees praying 24/7.
