fifiqueen Posted August 18, 2005 Share Posted August 18, 2005 Just to update you. Tonight I walked 6 miles at some pace I tell you! That totals 21 for this week so far. I plan or doing another 4 or 5 tomorrow. These are just training Walks. Day 1 of the official walk will be about 22 miles and then about 16 on day 2 apparently as we are walking across London we may have some hills to climb!! Please pray for me and my team. We do our financial transactions in U.S. Dollars (USDs), not British Pounds (£s). While it is possible to donate in £s at the link, there seems to be "no way" to donate in USDs. Here is a way to make donation of USDs possible: If paying by credit card, the credit card company will make the conversion for you. Simply click on how many British Pounds you'd like to donate and the card will do the rest! Interested in conversion rates? Here are a few conversions using today's rates: 1 British pounds = 1.8011 U.S. dollars 1 U.S. dollars = 0.555216257 British pounds £10 = $18.01 £20 = $36.02 £30 = $54.03 £40 = $72.04 $10 = £5.55 $20 = £11.10 $30 = £16.66 $40 = £22.10 So, if you choose to donate £10, the credit card will be charged $18.01.
