Administrators Naomi Posted August 20, 2005 Administrators Share Posted August 20, 2005 Growing up in a large family with lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, etc it has been an experience watching them, one by one, take their last breath on this old ball of mud. Mother & Dad were the youngest of each of their families. Today only a few cousins remain, and from the "original" family, only mother and two aunts remain. Aunt Thelma is 96 and has lived alone. Efficiently doing her own housework, cooking, handling her finances and personal care. She has remained steadfast in insisting that she will live in her home alone and take care of herself until God calls her home. Sometime early Wednesday morning (or Tuesday night) she had a heart attack and fell in her living room. After approx 30 hours of attempting to contact her via telephone my cousin drove to her home and had to break into the house. Aunt Thelma had a heart attack, was semi-conscious but by some miracle is still holding on to life. Her son and daughter ask for prayers for their mother, that whatever decision our Lord chooses will bring her peace and comfort to a very strong servant of our Lord, their mother. Administrators Naomi Posted August 27, 2005 Author Administrators Share Posted August 27, 2005 Hello Doug, Thank you, and everyone for your prayers. My Aunt Thelma is now resting until our Lord returns to open her tomb. Then she can enjoy her final home. In Blessed Hope, Naomi Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
