Loving, Emotionally Charged Phrases

A wonderful use of the word "you"...I love you!

There are no greater words than these. Our loving Savior uses these very words every single day. We would learn to do well to imitate, with heartfelt emotion, Him in saying these words to one another.

Going first, I want you each to know that you are loved beyond understanding. Not only loved by God, but by so many loving people. Hard as it is to recognize at times, but it is true.

Shane, we've had our share of arguments; I love you anyway, and I find a great deal of wonderful qualities in you that I rarely find in others. Your passion for what you believe is astounding. If only others would share the same passion about their beliefs--we'd have a positive, emotionally charged world full of Christians!

I find a blessing from each person here - even those I tend to consider unreasonable. They teach me patience and tolerance. And the others have caused be to grow closer to the Lord and, hopefully, become a better father, husband and member of the church and community.

I count the members of Club Adventist among some of my sweetest blessings.

What a great idea for a thread, Chrys, thanx! And, without turning this into a total lovefest for Shane, I continue to be hugely impressed by you too, mate: you're showing us what it means to be mature.

Thanks, Bravus! I hope this can be a "lovefest" for everyone here. We need it.

Bravus, I too enjoy reading your posts and appreciate your level-headedness. Your devotion to your wife and children is a superior witness to the average man. I thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

I really appreciate Nan and Aldona's example. They are insightful and have opinions but are almost never "in the fray." I very much respect both of these ladies.

Would also add Gail's sweetness. Also LynnDel's levelheadedness. I have really appreciated her comments dealing with education.

I think everybody here is special in their own way. Even those who rub me the wrong way, of whom there are very few...

As for not being in the fray, I hate arguing...if someone tries to engage me in an argument I just crawl under the desk and put the waste-paper basket over my head. <img src="/ubbtreads/images/graemlins/seenoevil.gif" alt="" />

There are so many here whose posts I look forward to and read with great enjoyment, and whose perspectives on life and faith inspire me. And it's definitely not only those who usually agree with me!

But it would be remiss not to send out the love to our Beloved Leader, Stan the Man. It would be soooo easy for him to have made this whole site into a little personal fiefdom, where he controls everything and his fingerprints are all over it. Instead he built it and maintains it, but has the courage, grace and humility to let us collectively build it into what we want it to be. C'mere, big guy, you're gettin' a hug.

Well I haven't posted here nearly as much as many of you, as I have been gone out of the country several times this year and just very busy. However, I really appreciate you all a great deal. Thanks for being honest, sharing from your heart and being passionate about what you believe in! It is inspiring. I hope to get to know you all a bit better as time goes on.

I would like to extend loving hugs to all my brothers and sisters here at CA. You have all been wonderfully supportive to me since the separation of my husband and I. It would be easy to turn your back on me since my separation and soon divorce is not biblical, but you havent and that acceptance has shamed me as I am not worth it. I love you all.
