cricket
Mrs. Gray, please come to church with me this weekend. You know where Central Church is. I'd love to meet you. I really want to take a gander up your dress to see what's lurking there. I have a strange feeling that I'll probably find your brain! Paul Beach
Margaret Gray responds: Mrs. Gray is shocked at how forward you are, Ms. Wall. Mrs. Gray does not anticipate that the people at the Central Church appreciate it when you look up dresses to see what is there. Do you do that often, or are you one of those people they had on the news who put cameras under stairways to get those types of views? Somebody ought to call the police next time you invite a person to church so that you can look up their dress. Unbelievable.

Moderators LynnDel Posted October 7, 2005 Moderators Share Posted October 7, 2005 It has been so hard keeping this thread off topic. I'll make another effort before I head off to Seattle (Women of Faith) for the weekend. Here's an off topic that should be on topic with everyone: [:"green"] God is good - all the time. Amelia
Put the kettle on by SMS []http://www.oregonlive.com/images/home/content/2005/72/ent/wallaceandgromit.jpg[/] Scientists have invented a kettle that can be turned on by text message. You can turn it on without getting off the sofa or on the way home from work by texting the words 'switch on'. Orange joined forces with PG Tips to create the satellite kettle. Called the ReadyWhenUR, the silver and black kettle is fitted with a radio receiver programmed with your mobile number, an electronic circuit and a tiny set of mechanical levers. The high-tech gadget - inspired by animated inventors Wallace and Gromit - will be on sale from January. PG are hailing it as the greatest thing since the Teasmade. A spokeswoman said: "It could revolutionise tea-time. Now there is no excuse for not putting the kettle on."
