The National Price Index has risen 3.2 in the last fiscal quarter and there has not been a corresponding increase in the funds allocated to yours truly...

I don't like it when my cholesterol level drops to low. I get all shaky. So my B12 is good then?

But what about olger's allocated funds? Or the lack thereof? Low funds makes HIM shaky!

(I'm used to low funds, so I don't shake as much)

Only if you are a block of sugar.

Maybe I will melt ... my granddaughter insist on calling me "Sugar" {no one knows why or how she came up with that}

our heat wave is over now we just have pleasant 90 degree summer days.

some of the tomato plants have shot up to 5 feet and i have pulled off about 10 squash bugs, i think i have saved the vines.

the grapes have set on, the peppers are blooming, the kale is full and happy.

the rasperries are on and getting ready to set on the blossoms for fall berries.

zuchinies have been sweet and good in the pan with onions.

summer is here for awhile, always seems like a bit of heaven to not be fighting the cold weather.

Yesterday (Sabbath) was my day to deliver the 11 o'clock message. At the last minute the SS School teacher became ill. In an effort to keep things running on time with the least amount of disruption I agreed to also teach the adult class.

There is a sweet, but rather caustic old gentleman who always sits on the end, second row, right. After having a member read a scripture I asked, "How does John the Revelator's message apply to us today?

My elderly friend very loudly and in an accusatory tone said, "Well, you are the teacher & preacher, if you don't know why should we tell you?"

It was difficult to continue through my laughter (and that of the class)

Did you let the air out of his tires?

(assuming it was his first offence)

first offense towards me, yes. However, it appears to be his unique personality.

... NAW it just struck me as very funny and when I began to laugh so did everyone.
