SMAN
I know I'm not going to understand women. I'll never understand how you can take boiling hot wax, pour it onto your upper thigh, rip the hair out by the root, and still be afraid of a spider. cricket
Arachnaphobia is a ruse, SMAN! It is our subtle way of going along with the idea that women are the "weaker sex". This way, men offer a "helping" hand when it comes to the heavy stuff of life.

Ellen
I'm just wondering how many readers (writers) here do the bikini wax thing. I certainly don't.

cricket
[tic]The only place I've ever seen a bikini waxed is in a Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum. No, I certainly don't have my bikini waxed.[/tic]

SMAN
All I can say (and it won't be much) is "OUCH"! - few things would ever entice a man to even consider doing that to his whiskers.
K
In defense of the bikini wax. . . . women can get little ugly red bumps when shaving. Waxing allows you to not have to shave as much, thus avoiding having ugly red bumps. Being in a warm weather state makes one learn about new methods of hair removal. A lot more skin is shown here a lot more often. The less shaving I can do the better, and oh yes Naomi. . . . it only hurts and is red for a little while. SMAN we also wax our eyebrows. Same result less plucking. . . . . less ugly raised welts on the eyebrows. I am Italian would be a unibrow with out plucking or waxing. About being afraid of spiders. . . . we only scream once then squoosh, however in my house I do everything I can to put them back out into nature because squooshing is yucky. SMAN
Reminds me of the executive who was in a hurry to get to an important meeting and didn't bother to read the label carefully on what he thought was his daughter's bottle of shampoo (Nair).........
